The smell of gingerbread brings up memories of Christmas! So after a week of comparing and contrasting over 10 versions of the story, what better way to end the week than by building our own houses!
They are freestanding and are held together with just icing! The kids had a great time and will leave with a fabulous memory to connect to those Gingerbread Man stories.
After the houses we made cinnamon dough and made gingerbread girl and boy ornaments that we will later decorate and hang on our tree in the classroom.
